Hello everyone! We know we’re back from a long break, but this news is too exciting to pass! We’ve been working alongside MVVO Art and the Oculus at Westfield World Trade Center to showcase to the world’s art capital Jose’s magnificent artwork on the big screen!
After a long break from this blog, we’re very excited to release a weekly blog, where we’ll share with you news, cool stories and updates from our Gallo Guitars Studio in NYC.
The MVVO ART AD SHOW 2020 is a cutting-edge art exhibition now launching its second year. Through the month of September they'll be showing art from around the world, with an emphasis on artists who have worked in advertising in any way or form.
Jose Gallo is among the 150 chosen artists who were picked from their worldwide Open Call, and we couldn’t be more psyched to be featured in one of the world’s most famous buildings!
This exhibition is a really big deal for us. Having a spot in this exhibition means that we are making real headway in our hometown. It marks a step forward in our vision of why we moved to NYC, and, in our opinion, it's definitely one of the coolest art shows of 2020!
Alright, so after hearing the BIG news, you’ve probably been wondering what we’ve been up to. Well it’s a cool story, but too long to share over a blog post. I’d say the main highlight since our last post is our move to NYC in 2017.
Since then, we’ve been able to work with World Class artists in some of the biggest productions around the world. This move was extremely beneficial to us, because NYC opened a lot of doors to us in the worlds of production, performance and fine arts, as we continue in our mission to light up the world one player at a time.
As of 2020, we continue to focus on building the best instruments (sonically and visually) and always remember that our guitars are made by artists for artists in New York: The art capital of the world!
